On-going patient satisfaction surveys show that the Welch Subacute Units admission process, staff/ patient interactions and rehabilitation programs are consistently rated above average. An overwhelming majority of patients would recommend the rehabilitation or subacute services to a friend or relative.
Customer Service to Payers
The Subacute Case Management Department routinely provides data to third party payers on the care members are receiving. Invitations to weekly Interdisciplinary Team Meetings are considered part of quality customer service.
High Level of Services
IV infusion, TPN, peritoneal dialysis and complicated wound management services are examples of the kind of medically complex patients that are treated on the Subacute Unit.
Outcome Data Measurements
Length of stay, functional improvements and diagnosis specific data are available to our customers.
