The company delivers a fully integrated continuum of services from senior residential to post-acute care that is resident- and patient-centered. This philosophy is designed to ensure independence, choice, dignity and continuity of care.
Welch owns and operates skilled nursing facilities, assisted living residences, senior living communities, a home care company, adult day health programs and a child day care center that collectively serve more than 2,000 residents and 50 children every day.
Our dedicated, skilled and highly experienced staff work as a team to create a plan of care that reflects the individual needs and goals of each resident. But, for us, providing premier medical and therapeutic care is only the first step. Our mission is to help each individual, either at our centers, communities, or at home, improve the quality of his or her life to the greatest extent possible.
Welch Healthcare & Retirement Group includes:
- Ownership and management of Village at Proprietors Green, a senior living community in Marshfield featuring independent living apartment-homes; 46 assisted living apartment-homes; and a memory care residence
- Management of the Village at Duxbury, a cooperative continuing care retirement community (CCRC) consisting of 175 independent living apartments and garden homes, and 35 assisted living apartments
- Ownership and management of seven assisted living communities, including the Village at Duxbury, with 34 apartment-homes
- Ownership and management of nine skilled nursing centers, with a total of 1,070 beds, including two sub-acute units and six Alzheimer’s care specialty units.
- Ownership and management of three adult day health centers
- A Home Care Services Company, with nearly 26,000 annual visits
- Management and consulting services throughout the region to hospitals, long-term care clients, assisted living and retirement communities
