Welch Healthcare & Retirement Group’s Memory Care Programs at the Allerton House Assisted Living Communities are designed to promote independence within a comfortable and safe environment. The goal of each program is to help individuals maintain the optimum level of functioning and to maintain the highest quality of life possible.
More than 5.3 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, according to the Alzheimer’s Association. The Allerton House Assisted Living Memory Care Programs have been designed to address and compensate the cognitive and physical losses that accompany the disease. This is done in the least restrictive environment possible to permit the greatest degree of personal freedom. The Program is designed to decrease inappropriate stimulation, enhancing each resident's ability to effectively interact with and perceive what is going on around them.
The Allerton House Memory Care Program staff receive special training and seek to adapt to each resident's individual patterns of behavior. In this way we provide the best possible environment for every resident so that he/she can be successful in the tasks of day to day living. Our compassionate and caring staff provide a warm, homelike environment that enriches quality of life for older adults living with Alzheimer's and memory disorders.
