Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Meets Seniors’
Short- and Long-term Needs
Welch Healthcare & Retirement Group announces
the grand opening of Brighton House
Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Brighton House
is a new 78-bed center designed to provide
high-level medical, rehabilitative and skilled
nursing care. Patients will receive exceptional
care from experienced nurses, occupational
therapists, physical therapists, speech and
language pathologists, social workers and
nutritionists. The center participates in the
Medicare program, as well as in most major
health insurance plans. The opening of Brighton
House marks the completion of Boston’s first
continuum-of-care campus for seniors, located on
the grounds of the Providence House Senior
Living Community, providing assisted and
independent living, and Alzheimer’s Care.
Brighton House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center
offers a full range of short- and long-term
services including:
- 24-hour
nursing care
- physical,
occupational and speech therapies
- social
work support
- nutrition
counseling
In addition, Brighton House will offer:

intravenous (IV) therapy
- complex
wound care
- enteral
and parenteral nutrition
The need for skilled nursing care and
rehabilitation services continues to grow. The
number of older individuals is increasing, and
hospital stays are much shorter than in the
past. Seniors who have experienced incidents
such as falls, fractures, strokes or heart
attacks often are not able to go directly home
from the hospital. Many need short-term
rehabilitation services, additional care and
support. Others require long-term skilled
nursing care. We are pleased to offer a facility
that meets all of these needs in a warm and
caring environment.
