Restaurant-Quality Dining at Allerton House at Harbor Park in Hingham, MA

Residents at Allerton House at Harbor Park enjoy three delicious, nutritious and tastefully prepared meals every day. Menus are reviewed and approved by a registered dietitian, with the meal planning and presentation supervised by our executive chef. Menu items are varied to suit a variety of needs and tastes, and residents may request smaller portions if they wish. See Sample Menus below.

BREAKFAST MENU

Breakfast is cooked to order, according to resident preferences.

Juices

Orange, Grapefruit, Prune, Apple, Light Cranberry


Cereals

Hot Cereal, Assorted Cold cereals, Unprocessed Bran


Breads/Pastries

Breakfast Bread, Fresh Baked Muffin, Assorted Danish, Raisin Toast


Eggs

Scrambled, Poached, Hard Boiled


Fruit

Fruit Cup, Fresh Banana


 

LUNCH MENU

Starter Course
Garden Salad or Soup of the Day

Entrees
Grilled Salmon or Beef tenderloin, plus freshly broiled chicken or fish offered daily Entrees are served with a potato or rice and two vegetables.

Desserts
Full dessert cart offered, including but not limited to decadent cakes, assorted fruit pies, fruit cups, Ice cream and cookies

 

DINNER MENU

A lighter fare with several choices

Starter Courses
Soup of the Day or Garden Salad

Evening Feature
A choice of Hot Entree, Sandwiches, such as Chicken Salad with lettuce and tomato or Belgian Waffles with strawberries

Full dessert cart

Small portions are available. All foods are prepared with low-salt and low-fat bases. We also offer sugar-free choices. In addition, there are many substitutions for each meal offered. Smaller portions are always available.
