Allerton House at Hancock Park

Wellness/Fitness Program

With a focus on maximizing independent living, the Health Services Coordinator, a Registered Nurse, arranges for weekly blood pressure and weight clinics. She also schedules visits from a podiatrist, audiologist, and opthalmologist.

Residents of Allerton House at Hancock Park meet twice weekly for 60 minutes of directed exercise, led by the region's top senior fitness instructor. Residents enjoy working out on stationary bikes and treadmills, while socializing with other residents. Various exercises and movements are also set to music. Chair exercising, dancing, and weight lifting are incorporated into these popular afternoon meetings.
