Allerton House at
Central Park
Wellness/Fitness Program
The Health Services
Coordinator, a
Registered Nurse,
schedules appointments
with various
specialists, conducts
weekly blood pressure
and weight checks, and
hosts regular
discussions on health
issues and concerns with
residents. The Health
Services Coordinator
also conducts
re-assessments of
Allerton House residents
who have been
transferred to hospitals
and skilled nursing
facilities to ensure
that residents remain
appropriate for the
Allerton House program.
Exercise classes, taught
by a certified Senior
Fitness Instructor, are
offered three times a
week. Exercise classes
include programs with
light weights, as well
as other activities that
increase stamina and
muscular endurance.
Residents also enjoy the
walking paths
surrounding the
facility. |
